Unlike the health professions subject to registration in a Professional Association, for example doctor, nurse, pharmacist and nutritionist, the exercise of other health professions is regulated by different competent authorities.
This is the case of professions classified as diagnostic and therapeutic and of non-conventional therapies in which both the recognition of foreign Professional Qualification and the respective issuance of a professional certificate for professional practice are carried out exclusively by the Central Administration of the Health System (ACSS) .

a) Original or photocopy of diploma or certificate of qualifications or other titles;
b) Photocopy of identity card/citizen card or passport;
c) Photocopy of the tax identification number (NIF);
d) 1 passport photograph (3×4), original and updated;
e) Document issued by the Embassy of Brazil in Portugal proving that the applicant meets the conditions required by that State to exercise the same profession there;
f) Applicant’s academic transcript issued by the school (subjects and workload);
g) Documents proving professional experience and/or CV.
h) Proof of payment of the fee associated with the order.
